Start from there.. Also look at the other link that I put in the post.. it's amazing what you can find for free.. Also, with the help of my mother, I was able to find the obituary for my great-aunt. It seems that the Toronto Star has some promotion going on that you can check all of the 1945 archives for free right now.. That happens to be the year that she died.. Just check out ancestry.ca..
