Its very nerve raking to see other students and teachers I knew and grew up with, were in the same classes as me have cancer that might possibly related to the mold problem. The only thing i can suggest for the time being to settle peoples nerves is to make sure you know whats going on (facts). I'm now 17 and as soon as I saw this going on my nerves hit the fan. What i'm currently doing is getting tested to be sure because i don't want to take the risk of missing any sign that could later lead on to something fatal. I attended riverside elementary from 1995-2002. During grade 6/7 there was buses that would take us to the old samual ribinson because of a huge mold outbreak and re-construction of most of the school. My brother had to stay behind and he had such a bad reaction to the mold his finger nails would fall off. The mold would spread very quickly and started going in to books students would read in class. So I advise students and parents who've had/have students attending riverside to pay close attention the the facts being given in either the news or papers and don't freak out the best thing to do is either go get checked out by a doctor or follow the facts.
