Going To The Movies Just Got More Expensive!

Published by Cameron at 5:03 am under General

Picture this..

You go for a night out to watch a movie.  You spend the money for a couple tickets, the popcorn, some pop, and maybe some M&M’s.  You go into the theatre, watch the show, have a good time.

Ordinarily, this is an outing that costs a few bucks.

You walk back out to your car to discover that your car has been keyed..  Wait..  so is the car next to you!  Wait a second!  Every car in the parking lot has been keyed!

Unbelieveable?   You would think so, but this happened in Coquitlam on the weekend.

Here is the little blurb from News 1130’s website.

Hundreds of cars keyed in Coquitlam

COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – Hundreds of cars in Coquitlam were keyed on the weekend, leaving vehicle owners to pay the $300 deductibles. The hardest hit area was the Silver City movie theatre parking lot, where every single vehicle was keyed, which could amount to up to 400 cars.

One victim tells Global BC this is the last thing she needs. She says she has been stressed out, so her boyfriend took her to a movie but she says this adds more stress on top of everything else.

There are no suspects yet and anyone with information should call Coquitlam RCMP.

I think that this is just disgusting that some individuals get a sick pleasure out of keying peoples cars. I know they don’t have a conscience and they think that it’s funny. I am sorry for all that have to pay those deductibles. I feel your pain as I have a new car and have already had a hit and run in a parking lot and had to pay the deductible. I totally believe in Karma though what goes around comes around and I hope that these individuals have the same thing happen to them a hundred times over!!
